This is stuff that I find cool and interesting

Day trip into Sienna…Where, of course, the Crayola colour “Burnt Sienna” was discovered…. Duomo was awesome

In Tuscany in our little Fiat Panda. Has lead to some interesting driving stories. But the weather is nice. The Chianti is cheap. Life is good.

Last day in Florence and it’s off to Tuscany. Nice rooftop patio. The Galileo museum. The Uffizi gallery and one of the best little restuarants we’ve been too.

Some amazing sites in Florence today. Saw Michaelangelo’s David. Climbed the Duomo. So much great art… So little time.

We left Cinque Terre after a few days of fun in the sun. Hopped on a train to Florence. Walked Florence after arriving at 5. Even had time for a look at the Palazzo Vecchio. Pretty amazing stuff. The Medici family. Michelangelo. Art

Riomaggiore is a great little spot with stunning views and amazing structures built into the mountain side. It feels like a Disney village at times…

Another busy day…Vatican museum, Sistine chapel, the pantheon and two smaller churches ( San Ignazio and Santa Maria sopra Minerva ). With time for a pizza and a couple of beers in the middle.

After a hot sweaty train ride we have made it to the entrance of Cinque Terre, #riomaggiore

What a colossal day at the Colosseum and Forum. Rick Steves 2014 guidebook took us through a very informative and descriptive tour.
